On Friday I visited Torrington Drive Community Association’s annual Twinkle Twinkle Christmas event at New Hutte. Last year’s event had a bumper turnout but again this year by 5pm families were queueing to meet Santa and over 600 people had come through their doors. As always this shows just how important TDCA is to the local community, especially during the continuing Cost of Living Crisis.

Gary See and all the team deserve great credit for once more making sure local families could come out and have free festive fun and food, with as usual the traditional visit to Santa’s grotto.
