I was proud to cut the ribbon on the new accessible lift at Hunts Cross Station that will allow equal access for all to the platforms, rather than having to negotiate the steps down or not be able to use the station at all. As I saw while I was there the lift is already making a difference to passengers.

Stations like Hunts Cross are at the heart of local communities, which is why I am so pleased to see more people will now be able to use it. Thanks to all who joined us at the ceremony and to all who have put the hard work in to get this done.
