Following on from the ITV series Anne and the documentary about Anne Williams’ battle for justice for her son Kevin, I took part in the Hillsborough Law Now Rally on Friday, alongside Steve Rotheram, Andy Burnham, Margaret Aspinall, Jenni Hicks, Gordon Brown, Theresa May and many other survivors, family members and campaigners.

The rally highlighted the need for protection for victims and survivors of public disasters to stop anyone else having to endure the over 30 year fight the Hillsborough family have had for truth and justice. These Bills would give be a lasting legacy for the 97.
