I want to wish everybody a very happy Christmas. It has been another difficult year for many people and again some people will be unable to see family this year due to the pandemic, so please stay safe, get your booster jab and have the best Christmas you can.

Across Garston and Halewood, though, there will be people struggling this Christmas season and I encourage you all to keep an eye out for friends and neighbours who may need some support or just a friendly face checking they are okay.

I hope, though, that you and your loved ones have a great Christmas and best wishes for the new year and for a safer 2022.
