This morning the Daily Mirror printed a letter from the Hillsborough families ahead of a debate I’m leading on the need for reform of the justice system for bereaved families in public disasters.

The families rightly don’t want anybody else to have to endure the years of torment they did in their fight for justice, but the government has consistently objected to the Public Advocate Bill we have been campaigning to bring into legislation.

It’s time to get this done, and I’ll keep fighting for it.
