In his Winter Economic Plan last week, the Chancellor completely failed to acknowledge businesses that aren’t able to operate because they’re either shut down completely or trading with hugely reduced capacity. There are many sectors like this in my Constituency including aviation, the night time economy and live events.

Today is a #WeMakeEvents global day of awareness to highlight the support the live events sector urgently needs from Government. Watch Andy, Managing Director of local business, Adlib, and I talk about how it’s completely insulting for the Government to write them off as “unviable.”
