Today (Tuesday 2nd June) I’m back in Westminster as the Government has scrapped the hybrid Parliament, where MPs could question Ministers and take part in votes online as well as in person.

Stopping online Parliamentary proceedings won’t give us any more opportunities to hold the Government to account than before, as only 50 MPs are allowed in the House of Commons Chamber. It also excludes MPs with health conditions who can’t physically come back to walk through the voting lobbies.  Its a farcical system the Government has set up and I don’t think it will last very long.
