A mobile Coronavirus testing facility is available at Volair Halewood on Baileys Lane (L26 0TY) from this Sunday, 10 May until Tuesday, 12 May between 11am and 4pm.

Testing at the mobile facility is for essential workers, anyone over 65 with symptoms and anyone with symptoms who has to travel to work because they cannot work from home. Anyone over the age of 18 who has symptoms and lives with an essential worker, someone over 65 with symptoms or someone who has to travel for work with symptoms, is also eligible for testing.

Please note that if you meet the criteria for testing you will need to book a test at the mobile testing unit and there are a limited number of appointments available. You can book a test online here: https://www.gov.uk/apply-coronavirus-test. Once you have booked a test, please only attend at your allocated time and please take some form of ID with you such as a work ID pass or your passport. If you do not have an appointment, you will not be able to access testing.

These are self-testing centres staffed by the army and are drive through facilities. You will need to drive in your own car or in a car driven by someone you live with.

To see if you are eligible, you can view a full list of essential workers here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-getting-tested#essential-workers.
