PM Refuses to Apologise for Offensive Comments about Liverpool

Today 👇I asked Boris Johnson to apologise for the deeply offensive remarks he made about people from Liverpool and the proven untruths he printed about the Hillsborough disaster back in 2004 when he was editor of the Spectator. Instead of doing so, he blundered around avoiding the question – an extremely disappointing but not unexpected response from the man who now calls himself Prime Minister. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/boris-johnson-new-prime-minister-16630597

On Thursday, the day after Boris Johnson became PM, I asked him to apologise for the deeply offensive remarks he made about people from Liverpool and the proven untruths he printed about the Hillsborough disaster when he was editor of the Spectator.

Instead of apologising like any decent person would he blundered around avoiding the question – an extremely disappointing but not unexpected response from the man who now calls himself Prime Minister.
