I recently had the pleasure of visiting the pupils at Banks Road Primary School in my constituency. I was there to open their new library, complete with an indoor tree house – a great space for the children to read.

I was also given a tour of the school by the excellent Head Girl and Head Boy where I had to opportunity to meet the school council and answered some very difficult and thoughtful questions from some of the pupils. It is always fantastic to see young people engaging with current events and being curious about politics.

I had a great time visiting and I hope all the children enjoy and make the most out of their new library. Thanks for having me Banks Road Primary!
