This month is Marie Curie’s annual Great Daffodil Appeal. On Wednesday I met with representatives from the charity in support of their campaign for better end of life care.

Marie Curie provides expert care and support for people living with a terminal illness, and their families. Their Marie Curie Hospice, Liverpool in Woolton in my constituency is no different and do amazing work in caring for and supporting people in need of end of life care.

Throughout March every year, their Great Daffodil Appeal campaign aims to raise funds to provide care for people affected by terminal illness. Donating and wearing a daffodil not only shows support for the vital work of Marie Curie nurses carry out, but it also highlights the issues that many people affected by terminal illness are burdened with.

That’s why I’m proud to wear my daffodil and support this incredible charity #EveryDaffodil.
