On Friday I joined Labour Colleagues, pupils, teachers and representatives from the Children’s Air Ambulance at Halewood Academy for the launch of Children’s Air Ambulance new kids club “The Crew”. This brand new club created by two keen seven year olds gives children the opportunity to help with fundraising and learn new skills such as first aid.

Halewood Academy was chosen for the launch because they are working closely with Children’s Air Ambulance to give their pupils lessons on a variety of subjects like first aid and marketing as well as careers advice.

It is great to see a local school working with the Children’s Air Ambulance to improve education and outcomes for their pupils. Hopefully similar clubs can be set up in schools all over Knowsley and Liverpool so everyone can have access to the lessons and opportunities on offer as part of “The Crew”.
