It was great to visit Hope University on Friday to talk to students studying degrees in a range of subjects related to education and politics.

I answered questions on my experiences over the last 20 years as an MP, especially my time as a minister and later a shadow minister.  I discussed the triumphs and tribulations of creating new policies and the importance of education for improving the lives of children in my constituency.
