This week, I dropped in to support to the National Farmers Union #YourHarvest campaign. My constituency has a handful of arable farms, so I like to take interest and show support for the work our farmers do growing fresh, local produce year in year out.

The NFU event in Parliament showcased a variety of products from our British cereals farmers, much of which makes up the staple food we eat every day. It’s important we back our farmers by buying British produce. It’s good for the environment and the future of our farms. The weather this year means that many will face challenges with their harvest so we should do all we can to help them.
