On Wednesday I was shocked to hear about the murder, stabbing and shooting in South Liverpool on Tuesday night. Initial police investigations are trying to determine the nature and cause of these incidents but they have stated that they do not think the attacks are connected.

Anyone with any information should contact the police, but it is clear that the public need reassurance following these worrying events that this kind of violence is never acceptable on the streets of South Liverpool.

This cannot be contemplated. It’s about time this appalling Government put the interests of the people of this Country above their own manoeuvring to stay in office. Otherwise, our manufacturing industry faces total destruction.
