It was great to meet representatives from the Brake charity this week to support their campaign for road safety across the UK.

5 people are killed on our roads every day in this country. I know from my work with the Tyred campaign what a difference basic safety measures, like banning the use of dangerous old tyres, can make.

Brake have a long history of offering support to people involved in road accidents and their families as well as the work the do raising awareness of the importance of road safety. So I’m proud to continue to support all the important work that they do.
