Maria Eagle MP A Strong Voice in Tough Times
St Julie’s Catholic Girls School in Woolton has recently benefited from the building of a new site on the edge of Woolton Woods, a development organised by our Mayor Joe Anderson.
I know that many of my constituents were fearful that the school would impact upon the availability of the precious green space in the area. This fear wasn’t helped by the scaremongering of the Liberal Democrats who claimed, without basis, that building of the new school would spell the end for Woolton Woods.
I met with Mayor Anderson and Cllr Colin McAlley on the site of the new school to talk to them about how the development has meant not just great new teaching facilities for the pupils, but an opening up of more of Woolton Woods for the public to enjoy. Watch the video to find out more.
