On Wednesday I joined the National Farming Unionin support of their Back British Farming campaign. I have three farms my constituency and I know from talking to the farmers that run them that working in the industry can often pose many challenges. They face falling prices for their produce and will be hit hard if we don’t get a good deal for them when we leave the EU.
It’s vital that we support our farming industry, and do our bit for the environment, by buying home grown produce when we can.
I’m proud to support our local farmers, and will do what I can to make their voices heard in Parliament to get the best possible deal for them when we leave the EU.
