Like many in my constituency, I was very upset to hear of the closure of Garston Urban Village Hall due to lack of funding. The much loved hall has played an essential part in providing many vital services to the local community in Garston over the years, many of which were reliant on the hard work of dedicated volunteers.

Local Councillors and the council are doing all they can to find a solution to restore these services to the local community as soon as possible. I hope that, between all of us, we will be able to re-open the Village Hall sometime soon.
