Halewood Boxing Club previously functioned for over 40 years but has been closed for around 10 years. Thanks to the hard work of Youth Centre Management the club has now reopened and offers boxing classes for all ages on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

At the time I spoke to the Centre Leaders andthe coaches about their plans to buy new equipment with the help of a Sport England Small Grant. I am really pleased to say that the boxing club has now secured a grant and will be upgrading all of their equipment.
