Liverpool City Council raises £146million a year in council tax, this year they spent £151million on adult social care. Since 2010 the council has had its budget slashed by 58% by the Tories.

Liverpool Council should ideally spend more on adult social care but this Government continues to make deeper cuts. How can the Government expect councils to care for more people with less money, it simply doesn’t add up.
