As the current crisis with COVID-19 continues, I’ll be doing my best to provide regular updates to constituents. I know our community is resilient and will do everything we can to support each other through this challenging time. I will be monitoring developments as the Government responds to this unfolding crisis.
Following advice from the Government and the Speaker’s Office in the House of Commons, I have cancelled all face-to-face surgery appointments. My Constituency and Westminster offices are closed with my staff and I working remotely to provide advice and assistance where possible.
Understandably, I’m receiving a great deal of correspondence from worried constituents. This is a difficult time for us all, and it can be hard to find the key information you need if you have a query. I hope the following links can be useful in trying to find what you are looking for. Please email me at email@example.com with your name and full address, if there is anything my team or I can do to support you further.
Please also bear in mind that strict parliamentary rules mean that I can only act on behalf of my constituents. Before getting in touch, or getting in touch on behalf of someone else, please do check that I’m your MP or the MP of the person who needs help. You can do this online here https://members.parliament.uk/constituencies/ to ensure that you can get advice as quickly as possible.
